let's  stay  in   touch

My educational and corporate background encompasses more than a decade in marketing, management, and business administration for one of the world’s largest retailers. Throughout my career, I have managed hundreds of people and collaborated with all levels of the corporate world.

Truthfully, there were some facets of that life that I enjoyed. I was good at it. My teams and employees trusted me. And I climbed that elusive ladder at a young age.

But it was a destructive world that demanded everything from me without allowing me to truly be myself. It took me away from my home and family on evenings, weekends, and holidays. And it was a world that wanted me to fit in its defined box of what leadership and professionalism look like.

I’m not small and contained and quiet. I’m bold. I take up space. I have tattoos and a loud voice. And I speak my mind to stand up for what’s right, ethical, inclusive, and equitable. And quite frankly, I don’t understand any business allowing its leaders to do anything less than that.

Friends, we can be professional, capable, brilliant, AND transformational in our companies and communities. Our world deserves this from us.

During those “don’t color outside the lines” corporate years, I was also trying to fit a socially-acceptable mold in my personal life. I was married to someone in active addiction and spent our entire relationship trying to gain his approval.

I was working my ass off, convincing myself that getting skinny/pretty/successful enough would make him like and appreciate me. Want to guess how well that worked?

Finally, enough was enough. It was time to focus on my health and wellness. I left that harmful marriage and started rebuilding. Boldly. Courageously. Authentically.

I found holistic wellness, tapped into my witchy side, and witnessed a whole new world opening in front of me. This journey even gave me my passion project as a Reiki Master Practitioner, an IIN certified Holistic Health + Nutrition Coach and Wellness Advocate with doTERRA essential oils.

The work I did during this time allowed me to dig into the beauty and power of my true self as a human and a leader. It permitted me to see how different life can be in our homes and businesses when we claim our fully-present bad-ass awesomeness.

I have since found love again with a wonderful man who is my true partner. We cherish the life we have with our children and dogs here in the Pacific Northwest. I have time and space to enjoy my obsession with “Murder, She Wrote,” leopard print, and movies and music from the 80s and 90s. And I have a life that lets me pursue my passion for travel, gardening, and neat liquor!

No more playing small. No more quieting our voices to keep the peace. No more stifling ourselves in boxes. Are you ready to join me?

personal transformation

I am an actively anti-racist, justice-seeking human. I vocally support women, the BIPOC community, and LGBTQIA+ folks. So I want to be clear that if there isn’t alignment in these values, please move along.
